Air Monitoring
Friends of Fonde Park is initiating a Community Air Monitoring project for Spur 5, recognizing that environmental factors, including air quality, are critical to the holistic wellness and safety of our community and the park's natural resources. This ambitious project aims to develop a robust environmental science air monitoring program through a collaborative partnership with various organizations. This multi-disciplinary approach will allow us to scientifically assess local air quality, understand its health and social impacts, advocate for necessary improvements, and empower the community with data-driven insights, thereby strengthening our commitment to Resource Stewardship and Community Preservation.
